Do I have better chances of becoming pro on bass or electric guitar?
I just wanna know I'm a girl so I don't know if it matters or not. My favourite band is Avenged Sevenfold so I really look up to Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance , and Johnny Christ.
I'm also looking into shecters are they any good I know Syn and Zacky use them...

schecter is a great guitar. so are many others too.
as for bass or guitar, that is just a matter of personal preference. they are both an intrical part of the band,as far as getting into the business, yeah, it helps to be a good musician , but helps more meeting the right people and saying the right thinkgs. there are a lot of GREAT local talent across the country in every little town,
just like mine here in South Carolina that as far as the ability and talent go are as good or better than most on the air now, but they didnt get the right connection or didnt spend enough money in the right place.you can spend a life time chaseing that elusive dream and never get it or you could be the next mylie cyrus. ya just never know (:
