Would this be a good fly rod to start off with?
If this wouldnt be a good one to start with anybody have any suggestions anything from $60 to $80

I can't say that it is a good or bad outfit. To me it all depends if you are just starting out and going to stick with it. Do you have a Bass Pro Shop or a Cabala's near you where you could hold the rod and check out the action,or do you know anyone that has this rod that you could check it out.
It was kind of a hit and miss deal with me,I have spent quite a lot of money on rods and like some of the cheaper ones more that the expensive ones.
I would say if it feels right buy it,don't buy it because someone else say's it is an OK rod & reel.
