I'm looking for a red dot sight for a paintball gun, and here are what I was specifically looking for:
-Durability
-Simplicity(so none of that fiber optic $700 mojo)
-High profile(I'll be using a paintball mask(they're rigid, BTW) with a CAR stock, so it has to be high enough to be in my field of vision, and to clear the front iron sight)
-Unlimited eye relief
-No magnification
-Dovetail mounting
-No Made in China crap
Check out the Barska Electro Sight. I use a version of it on one of my ARs so I know that it's not too low of a profile for heads up shooting. The Bushnell Trophy 1x32 has an ACOG's profile. It's good quality (but certainly not up to the Trijicon.) Still, it's not a pretender. I have one of these on an AR as well.
