Hooked Ad - Was it offensive?
it has come to light (excuse the pun) that the anti smoking ad in which people were hooked with a large fishing hook has upset some members of society,these ads were made to shock you into not starting to smoke or to give up but oh no the beard and sandal brigade got on the phone and complained "its scaring ma kids man" well what did they expect a picture of a cheesy smile from tony blair saying "dont smoke kids" would not have worked,or does it take a heart attack to stop you smoking i know as it took 1 to stop me from 30years of smoking
Personally I think if smoking ads cannot be shown on television, anti-smoking ads should not be shown either. Let people make their own decisions and quit making retarded commercials.
