Fishing Lure Crank

Is the Rapala Clackin Crank, Color Red Crawdad, Size CNC74 a good lure for inshore fishing?
I do not have a boat and will be fishing from the dock, or shore.
Personally, that wouldn't be my first choice of color or lure for Inshore fishing.
I'm assuming when you say "Inshore fishing" you mean Inshore saltwater fishing?
If your fishing in freshwater, that lure could potentially catch Bass. But, if your strictly shorebound/dock-fishing in freshwater I suggest putting your dollars toward weedless Soft Plastic's, (such as Worms, Lizards, Crawdads, Etc). Shorelines are usually covered with weeds and structure making it difficult to use Crankbaits......(And I'm guessing you want the highest percentage lure tied onto your line!!?) Rattle Trap lures are "Reaction Strike" lures that need to cover a vast area to work effectively for Bass.
If you ARE talking about saltwater Inshore fishing I suggest using a cheaper Rattle-trap type lure such as this- http://www.basspro.com/Cotton-Cordell-Super-Spot-Lipless-Crankbaits/product/44610/-1630352 Cordell, Spots are cheaper and can easily be made into a "saltwater version" by replacing the O-rings and hooks with saltwater components.
I've used Cordell, Spots on Redfish and Spec Trout, but have had better luck with Inshore species using Jigs/Berkley Gulp Body's, Rapala Husky Jerks, DOA Shrimp and Heddon, Saltwater Spooks.
Hope this helps ya?
