what are the best condition to fish with(number of baits)?
what are the best condition to fish with, 1. rattle traps, 2. top water popers and other top water lures(give examples if possible), 3. rubber worms and rubber jerk baits, spinner, horny toad, crank baits, jigs and what ever else you can think of? I know this is alot but i appreciate any answers and am looking forward to giving out a best answer.
Rat-L-Traps work very good when the water is just unfreezing, normally, March is a good time to catch Bass on a Rat-L-Trap. Poppers work good when fish are active and freely eating Shad near the surface, normally in Spring & Summer. Plastic worms (NOT rubber) work very good just about any time of year, but I have particularly good success in Spring, normally with small (4") Zoom worms while dragging them over the bottom.
Plastic jerk baits (NOT rubber) work good in Spring also, I would guess. Spinnerbaits work best in Fall near submerged trees, stumps, and everything else. Soft plastic frogs (EX. horny toad) work good in the heat of Summer. Crankbaits work good in Spring, I like to throw crawdad colored cranks then. Jigs work good in Fall & Early Spring.
Now, where's that Best Answer? Haha, j/k.
