What is the fish shown in Babette's Feast movie?
In the movie Babette's Feast they show a kind of flat fish, black on one side and white on the other side. Do you know what kind of fish is that? (Since the story location is Norway, I guess it is Turbot fish.)
The story location was in Denmark. The fish was probably Dover Sole or Flounder as she was cooking really expensive classical French food as Babette was a chef that had escaped the French Revolution. she spent all her money on that one meal, one of the courses was quail that she had to kill and pluck and one other course was a "bombe" with many layers of ice cream. Such a nice movie! One of the best.
