Hair Ice Wing

Ice Bird

When I am on the ice I am like a bird.
The rink is the field I soar over.
My ice skates allow me to skate,
As a bird's wings allows it to fly.
The Sun smiles down at the dove
So that everyone on land will see
The Beauty of the bird.
The spotlight shines on me,
And all the people look at me
As I fly across the ice.
Bold and proud, the dove shows off
It's brilliant white feathers.
Beautifully and elegantly,I show off
My dark hair and pail dress.
Dancing across the rink
I put together my act;
As a bird hops around gathering straw
To put together his nest.
I am as graceful as a bird:
A bird of the ice.
