Hollow Belly Swim

swallow

cut up in dreamland
i still bleed
hung from the tree
i planted the seed
instead of rain
acid poured down
*cut* call this scene
dried up now i drown
nothing to say
but i tried
oh i did
doesnt matter
anyway you slice it
on this grid
i'm particles of dust
all that's left
of a wish
swimming acid lake
with belly-up dead fish
and i'm hungry
i'm starving
for a little bit of
the now-rotting fruit
that we call love
spit out the taste
after you swallow
full of it now
at least i'm not hollow
