Football Jig fishing tips?
Im an experienced bass fisherman and have used many many different baits although i've never threw a jig with the football head. I've heard on many occasions that these things won't do well when fished in dense cover which seems a little weird to me. That's what a jig is designed to do. Anyways any tips and advice would be appreciated.
It is better suited for open/deep water and rocky situations, I have tried a football head jig in thick cover before and lost them. That football shape head does not move through thick cover to well.
