ok i was in my house the other day and i looked out the window and saw the the weirdest 2 birds walking next to each other in my back yard.
They were pretty big birds. They had long necks and the body kind of like a pheasant. Their tail feathers were a little long and i think their heads may have been a red color. I have never seen any bird like this so please help me found out.
They probably WERE pheasant.
Edit: In that case..they may have been Sandhill Cranes..long neck and a red head. You didn ot mention what color their body was?
