what is good fishing reel and line!!?
i am looking for good fishing reel. i just bought a casting rod today that is 8.6. i have no clue which would be best. so i have rod and no reel/also if you know of a good line that would help too
What kind of fishing are you planning on doing?
There are so many variables to consider, it's impossible to answer this question easily.
Freshwater / Saltwater?
Banks / Shores / Boat?
Trolling / Drifting / Anchoring?
Species? (What are you targeting? Some fish are line shy. Some fish could care less. Some fish require a lot of line. Some fish tend to stay shallow. etc....)
Plugging? (lures) vs. Bait?
Line suggestions will require more info as well. For some fish you need to go fluorocarbon. For some, you might even need to go braid.
