Okay,me and two other people,my uncle and his father went trolling for brook trout and salmon,we caught and kept four brook trout and one salmon,and one of the ones I caught,a 16 incher,had purple dots all over it instead of the usual yellow,and later on when the fish were cleaned, this fish had both eggs and a sperm sack.Now the only freshwater fish that I heard of that could be hermaphridic was the killifish.Am I missing something here?
sounds like someone has been flushing birth control pills into your waterways. l have heard of some fish changing sexes due to this. but don't quote me. l personally do not know.
l DO know that the southern california saltwater fish, the california sheephead (semicossyphus pulcher), all are born as females and eventually turn into males.
