Shad Bait Trolling

How am I going to catch the big fish?
I frequent a large pond and go fishing from shore. The pond is stocked with trout once a year by the state, last time about 6 weeks ago. There are large koi fish in the pond as well. There are bunches of tiny fish of unknown species - plural, and many small fish, like baby trout, crappie, and some other species.
I have access to plenty of equipment and a tackle shop. I can cast accurately a good 60 feet to the middle of the pond, if going that deep. All 4 shores are accessible to fish, and I often will go only in the region 30' to 5' off shore. (Any closer and you just net a little bait fish from shore - it gets shallow, but has a drop off.). I usually put 3' below my bobber, a sinker 12" up from the hook. I use fake bait, such a rubber krill and Shad. I use a sit and twitch technique half the time, and a slow trolling technique the rest.
I get nothing. What can I do to increase my chances of nailing the big fish?
More line? Deeper? Live bait? What kind?
You said you had access to tackle purchase a fly rod and try a whooly booger they work geat for trout. If you want to catxh one of the koi try a tiny float with a 32 ot hook five inches below your cork with a piece of corn. Cast in their direction and hold on for a fight
