Remove external sewn-in tshirt tags?
Hi all,
This probably sounds like a dumb question, but should I be removing the tags that are sewn in on the sleeve of the shirt? They usually have a logo on them. Most of 'em don't bother me and look quite fine, but I have a couple of shirts where you can easily get a finger caught in them.
Yeah... just wondered what the "done" thing in fashion is (if you can count tees as fashion).
Look on the label, you should see a line of thread around the edge of the label. snip the threads and the label should come right off. then you need to carefully the threads off the sleeve. Only cut the threads, don't cut the shirt fabric and you should be label free in no time. If you peel back the label at a corner you can see the threads between the shirt and the label, this will help you cut the right threads. The labels have moved from the back of the neck to the sleeve because many people find the irritate the skin and the skin on the arm is supposed to be less sensitive. My hubby can tell them in isn't true, so I removes all the labels from his clothes.
