Ive been accused of snagging fish by a game warden in texas?

While fishing for sandbass and drum a game warden came upon me and was extremely aggrivated and rude, he would not let me ask any questions and would not explain Anything that was going on to me. I was informed the he had been a game warden for 20 years and he knew what i was doing, he was accusing me of snagging fish. I was fishing with a medium action rod with a spinning reel with a white hand painted spoon with one treble hook on it. most likely not the most effective way to snag a fish if that was my intention. I was doing abslutely nothing wrong and in fact had caught no fish period in the hour i was fishing. The game warden cited me and ceized my equipment. I have no idea where to begin with fighting this.

Plead not guilty and a judge will decide the case. How can you be cited for snagging without any snagged fish as evidence? If this were any state but Texas, I would say the judge would throw it out. But I have found Texas to operate on a different playing field then any state in the nation. I live less then an hour and a half from Texas but will not set foot in it to hunt or fish. It's a strange, strange place.
