What were the carnivores on Noah's Ark fed?
Also, wood is not the best material for making large ships. Modern wooden ships quite a bit smaller than the Ark have constant problems with leaking and warping, even with iron bracing. The Ark would have been more susceptible to these problems due to the strong winds and high waves from the storm.
How did Noah keep termites away from the untreated wood of the Ark during the many years it took him to build it?
Also, how did all of the saltwater species survive in water with much less of a salt content than they were accustomed to due to the large amount of freshwater that would have been added?
If you say God did it, then why did he go to all of that trouble in the first place when he could have just snapped his all-powerful fingers and all the evil people would be gone? If you say he was testing Noah's faith, then if Noah hadn't of built or finished the Ark was the all-loving God just going to destroy all life on Earth for good?
Amazingly the animals were all mostly in a state of hibernation, all animals have this ability to some degree. He also brought more then just 2 sheep as he needed to provide for his family as well. Fish survived through adaptation just as they do today.
the vessel was made of very hard woods coated heavily with pitch so termites were not a problem. Engineering research also showed that the design was extremely sea worthy able to withstand seas of more then 100ft
God gave noah a very long life knowing he would finish the ark. He used his faith as an example that the wicked refused to see. Just as you do today.
